Eighteen years ago, Ezequiel and Gloria Sandoval opened the doors to Cancún, a family-owned restaurant built on one simple promise: serve real Mexican food, made with love, just like back home.
Over the years, Cancún grew into more than just a place to eat — it became a local favorite, celebrated for its authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, festive spirit, and the warmth of a family who takes pride in every dish.
As the restaurant’s success continued, Michael DiBona, who has played an essential role in the growth and operations of Cancún, saw an opportunity to evolve. Listening to the community, he recognized a rising demand for the same delicious food — but in a quicker, more on-the-go format.
Together, with Ezequiel and Gloria, Michael became a partner in launching Cancún Express — a new taquería concept designed to deliver the same signature quality, but in a fast, casual experience.
Cancún Express is the next chapter of a beloved tradition — a place where tacos, burritos, and margaritas are made fresh and fast, without ever compromising flavor or family values.
